[成功面试第一步]你不可不知的英文履历表4C重点

僱主刊登一则求职广告,说不准会收到数十份履历。求职者要从云云人海中脱颖而出,获得面试机会,除了实际经验和资历外,更要懂得包装你拥有的「资产」!以下介绍撰写履历表时不可或缺的4C──Clear、Concise、Convincing、Coherent。

Clear(清晰)

履历要清晰直接,避免内容含糊

应直接和清晰地表达内容,例如具体列出自己懂得运用的软件或系统,切忌意思含糊或过于概括地表达技能。如果在某些职位相关技能或语言能力上拥有认证,亦可加上。
Example 1:

Proficient computing skills at work

Microsoft Office Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP)

Adobe Illustrator

Example 2:

Good written and spoken English and Chinese

· Chinese – Native and idiomatic

· English – Conversational (TOFEL: 125/200)

Concise(精简)

履历以精简为主,不要段落式陈述

要考虑到人事部可能要阅读上百份履历,实在没闲暇在你的履历上咬文嚼字。应采取简洁的方法,整理自己过去的工作经验、技能和学历,并以点列方式展示。
Example:

In my past experience as administrative assistant in ABC Company, my main job duties were meeting coordination and management, fix assets maintenance and phone calls transfer.

· Coordinate and manage meeting

Convincing(具说服力

履历应展示具体的贡献及数据

事实和数据永远都是最有力的支持,因此在履历中不妨加入客观的成绩。例如可指出曾带领过多少人的团队成功达成年度目标,以展示实质的经验价值;或曾获得个人业绩奖等等。
Example:

With well recognized professional sales skills to meet sales target and explore new customers

· Achieved 105% – 121% of monthly sales target in 2017

· Awarded “Top Sales” for 2 consecutive years

· Developed 2 new clienteles in finance industry


Coherent(相关

内容相关,针对招聘内容

尽管职位名称相同,不同公司和行业的要求亦有所不同;因此每份履历表都应该度身订造,根据个别申请职位的重点工作内容来撰写履历。

例如有公司招聘人力资源主任(Human Resources Executive),主要负责公司招聘工作(Recruitment)和内部员工培训(Training and Development),而你过往亦有相关经验,应该将最相关的经验展示出来,一些较无关的经验则可省略。

· Handle and manage recruitment process
